Those bottles are 163 years old<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Original Marqu\u00e9s de Riscal Winery began construction in 1863 under the guidance of engineer Ricardo Bellsol\u00e1. Inside, one of the greatest treasures of our history is preserved: a collection of vintage wine bottles. Marqu\u00e9s de Riscal was the first winery in the region to adopt bottling as a method of wine storage. In 1883, construction began on the cellar known as El Palomar, designed in the style of Bordeaux wineries. In 2011, it was remodeled into a space equipped with the latest technology and the most advanced machinery. This is where wines like Bar\u00f3n de Chirel are crafted, which with its first vintage in 1986 became a benchmark for high-expression wines.
